| This Article appeared in the June 14th, 1876 edition of the Macon Telegraph and Messenger newspaper, published in Macon, Georgia about ten years after the Civil War. The photos of the article here are taken from an original copy of the newspaper. The four photos of the article are enlarged enough so that they can be read directly from the images. Note the game here is played using English Rules - 54 feet pin to pin, with one inch high pins and Quoits with a center hole of 2 1/4 inches maximum diameter! | ||
