Quoits Web Sites, Clubs, and Events
United States www.usqa.org The annual USQA National Quoit Tour consists of 4 Public Quoit Tournaments hosted by the United States Quoiting association, with cash prizes of up to $20,000. The largest of these four events is the World Quoit Championship, held every September in Amityville, PA. This is the Big One, a 120-team National Tournament with $10,000 in cash prizes!
www.geocities.com/munsterinvitational/ The Munster Invitational is an annual Quoit tournament organized by Mike (Munster) George, held at the Sellersville, PA Moose picnic grove each June. The entry fee covers a pig roast, a chicken barbecue, and beer on tap all day!
www.colonialquoit.com The Colonial Quoit Club is located in Hamilton Township, near Trenton, New Jersey. They use Trenton-style quoits, which are popular in that area, but are somewhat different from Lancaster County style quoits. These are a little lighter but have a larger diameter and center hole.

He hosts a yearly tournament at his home for friends and family. He has written a book on Quoits which is available for sale, and also produces "The Quoiter's newsletter. Known Quoit Hubs, Where to Buy, and Contacting other Quoiters are listed on his site.
UK www.lindahome.freeuk.com The Ancient Game of Quoits in Wales - This site, Hosted by Linda Evans, details records of International competitions between Wales and Scotland from 1979 to the present, including some present-day domestic competitions with many photos.

www.Kubbin.com Kubb (pronounced koob) is an outdoor game of tossing large wooden dowels at another teams wooden blocks (Kubbs). The first one to tip all the other teams wood, wins. Kubb is a traditional Swedish outdoor/garden game said to have been played by Vikings over 1000 years ago. In fact, Kubb's even been called Viking Chess due to the strategy needed to really play.
